Feeding
Provide nursing foals free-choice access to Foal Foundation™ from 1 week of age through 3 months of age. At 3 months of age, it is time to transition to a ration balancer or one of our Growth feeds. The mini pellet size allows for easier transition to these products.
For orphaned foals or foals with mares who are not producing enough milk supply, target consumption rate of Foal Foundation™ is 1 pound per 100 pounds of body weight per day, along with the recommended amount of a good milk replacer.
