Feeding
Standlee recommends forage at 1.5–2.5% of a horse's body weight daily. Gradually replace existing hay over 7–14 days. For increased hydration, aggressive eaters, or horses with dental issues, soak pellets using two parts water to one part pellets for approximately 30 minutes or until softened.
Standlee does not recommend pelleted forage as the sole forage source for horses.
